About us

The Dairy Research Unit is a new ecosystem of research and entrepreneurship, based on modern technologies and scientific knowledge, with the aim of creating a healthy and efficient system to deal with the problems in modern animal husbandry and industrial production. The new accredited Milk Research Unit is part of the large scientific family of ELGO-DIMITRA. The starting point for the establishment of the new unit was the ambitious program entitled "Research Infrastructure - MilkQuality - in Agri-Food". The project, which is being implemented by the Dairy Department of the Institution of Technology of Agricultural Products, is under the supervision of the Principal Investigator Dr. Marios Mataragas.
